Wildman Triathlon in Watamu/Kenya
The new Wildman triathlon event took place in Watamu hosted by Turtle Bay Beach Club on the 18th and 19th October 08. What a great event and big turn out with participants from the community, kids and amateurs. Ian Wanyeki (photo,time 2:16:46) and Helen Antoni (time 2:42:16) won the Olympic Triathlon. The Wildman will be repeated in 2009 and features a triathlon where professional full time athletes compete for prize money and sponsorship plus more events.
